The technician will use a small probe that emits heat and carefully traces
the unwanted distended capillaries or cherry angioma. The heat cauterizes
the blood supply of the capillary and then forms a tiny crust or scab
which sheds in a few days post treatment. Depending on the size of the
capillary or angioma one to three treatments are necessary for clearance.

Yes, thermolysis is safe for everyone; it is simply heat and a sterile

Results with thermolysis are immediate. Depending on the size of the problem
area it can take one to three treatments for complete clearance, if the
spot is not completely gone, it will be significantly reduced after treatment.
How Often Do I Come In For Thermolysis?
Thermolysis can be done at minimum every two weeks, or as long as the
crust or scab is completely gone from previous treatments.

How Will I Feel After The Treatment?
It is normal for the treated area to have a mild heat sensation for up
to a few hours following treatment. In some cases, mild redness can be
observed for several hours.
