How Does Thermolysis Work?
The technician will use a small probe that emits heat and carefully traces the unwanted distended capillaries or cherry angioma. The heat cauterizes the blood supply of the capillary and then forms a tiny crust or scab which sheds in a few days post-treatment. Depending on the size of the capillary or angioma one to three treatments are necessary for clearance.
