  • WHAT MAKES COOLPEEL® DIFFERENT?
    CO2 lasers are considered the superior choice in reducing wrinkles, dark spots, scars, and other blemishes, as well as tightening and rejuvenating skin. Damaged skin tissue is removed, stimulating healthy collagen production. Heat energy is used to tighten the skin. It may sound great, but CO2 treatments are often accompanied by substantial downtime while the skin heals. Many advances have been accomplished to improve the side effects of CO2 treatments, but only CoolPeel® can deliver a fractional ablative treatment without any necessary downtime.   • WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR COOLPEEL®?
    You are an ideal candidate for CoolPeel® laser treatment if you want to diminish the appearance of fine lines and sun damage, minimize pores, and improve skin texture. The results are dramatic! Your skin will look considerably younger and healthier. If you have melasma, we will need to fully assess your skin, as melasma is a contraindication of this treatment!

  • HOW LONG DOES COOLPEEL® TREATMENT TAKE?
    A full-face CoolPeel® laser peel treatment can take 5-15 minutes. When you visit our clinic, we’ll provide fast, efficient service so you can leave looking and feeling great!

  • IS ANESTHESIA OR NUMBING REQUIRED?
    While there isn’t a need for anesthesia or localized numbing, your provider may use a numbing cream for additional comfort as well as a cooling device called a Zimmer-blowing cold air in your face as the laser is being administered!

  • WHAT IS MY RECOVERY TIME?
    One of the primary advantages of CoolPeel® is very little – if any – downtime or recovery! You can expect to experience some redness similar to a sunburn for a day or two, but nothing will prevent you from returning to your normal everyday activities. Your skin may feel dry or scaly as it heals, so keeping your skin adequately hydrated is always recommended.

  • WHEN CAN I RETURN TO MY SKINCARE ROUTINE?
    After your CoolPeel® treatment, we highly encourage patients to keep their skin hydrated with a high-quality skincare product. There may be certain products you should avoid. Talk to your provider about the best post-treatment care and when you can return to your daily skincare regimen.
