CoolSculpting – Now Available in North Denver!
You live a healthy, active lifestyle and eat clean, vibrant foods, but some areas of your body remain unchanged and you’re feeling a little self-conscious. Liposuction can be risky and painful, and you definitely don’t have time to take weeks out of your life to recover. What if you could have a safe, gentle treatment to help sculpt those problem areas?
Well, now you can! Uptown Medical Aesthetics is excited to offer CoolSculpting, a new, revolutionary, FDA-approved system that freezes and permanently destroys fat cells.
What is CoolSculpting, and how does it work?
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical, noninvasive procedure for contouring away stubborn fat. Developed by Harvard scientists, CoolSculpting uses targeted cooling to gently freeze fat cells. Gradually, these cells die off and are eliminated by the body, resulting in a more sculpted physique in the treated area. CoolSculpting is a safe and affordable alternative to surgery.
The areas most commonly targeted with CoolSculpting are the chin and check, mid and lower back, upper and lower abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, and for men, the chest.
What happens during the procedure?
First, you’ll meet with a member of our expert staff here at Uptown Medical Aesthetics to determine your individualized treatment plan.
On the day of your treatment, your specialist will use a vacuum wand with a gel pad to perform your CoolSculpting treatment. The process itself is not painful, but most people do report feeling a cooling and light pulling sensation as fat cells are drawn toward the surface. The feeling of cold will typically disappear as the treatment area becomes numb.
Since CoolSculpting is noninvasive, there is no downtime after your procedure. You can get right back to living your busy life; some people even return to work directly following the procedure! You may notice some change immediately, but full results take time to develop and will be apparent within four to six weeks of your treatment.
Since CoolSculpting is such a mild, low-risk procedure, you are welcome to return to have the same area retargeted or a have a new area treated a minimum of four to six weeks after your initial session.
